What does the French expression ‘ les NAC ’ mean? How is it used in a sentence?
les NAC is the way French people talk about exotic pets; any pet but cats and dogs, really. NAC is the acronym for Nouveaux Animaux de Compagnie - New Pets.
- « Les NAC sont très tendance en c'moment. Tous les poissons, lézards, furets et araignées ont vraiment la cote parmi les enfants. »
- "Exotic pets are really in these days. Any fish, lizards, ferrets and spiders are really popular among children."
